Singing in the Rain...

YEAH!!!

We had to celebrate today, it finally rained here in good 'ol PV!!
My sister (Jamie) and I used to run in the rain, and play outside.
So when Jani asked me today to go outside,
I thought no- with getting ready for the TREK I had enough to do!
But then I remembered how much fun it used to be,
so I thought what the heck, this one's for you "J"!!

And I managed to pull out my rusty picture taking skills and brush the dust off and got a few shots that made "critic Jenni" happy!!

Jordyn's face says it all, THEY HAD A BLAST!! All she could tell "Bippy" (Kip) about when he got home was- "...play in the rain outside, Bippy!! My feet wet, dirty water!! And she would just giggle and giggle! Little blessings I guess- it gave me a nice break from "the cave" that houses the office. And in the end we all got what we wanted: They had fun, I had fun, took some great pictures if I do say so my self, and guess what- They took GREAT naps!! So I guess it does pay off to have some...

>>SPONTANEITY!!<<

My fellow "TREKKIES"- our prayers were answered!! YEA, my next venture- completing the Prescott Arizona Pioneer Trek for 4 days!!!! I am Ready!!- (i think?)

I am so thankful for the little ways Heavenly Father reassures you that everything will be okay!! A simple rain storm?? What a blessing though, and I really "soaked" it up today- no pun intended!! As busy as I have been lately something so simple changed my whole attitude today, and really put a smile on my face!! What a great lesson- It can be another Mommy Journal entry!!

**SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY**

Thank You Jani!!

BEACH BUMS

Kip's family and the 3 of us all went to Canyon Lake in Queen Creek this past weekend.

We had so much fun playing on the lake with the jet ski, enjoying a picnic,

and swimming in the lake. It was a relaxing time, and well deserved- might I add!!

I'll briefly recount it for you...

The weather was great,

the lake was smooth,

and the company was fabulous!!

Literally... or not????
We had a great time, we made it back in one piece-
Besides getting "bucked" off the jet ski accidentally by Kip.
Even Wes (Kip's dad) made it despite almost dying??!!
We made it out with only a few minor SUNBURNS- Ouch, don't touch!!
Just regular 'ol BEACH BABES I guess!! HA

4th of July

I just got all my pictures from my Brother-in-law, we had
alot of fun at the...

in Prescott on the 4th of July!!

Brody got so excited in the beginning to see the Horses, and clapped with everyone.

But it didn't take very long after sitting for 2 HOURS,

in 100 degrees.

When Mr. Happy-to-be there....

was not so happy anymore, he was Hot & Tired....

and didn't want to hear it anymore!!

We did however manage to find a cooling treat.

** I C E E 'S **

YUMMY!

Until, we run out and then...

Uh- oh...

>> More PLEASE Uncle AL!!<<

And we all had a hot, and kinda bothered, but very fun

>>>4th of July!! <<<

Until next year

Girl's Camp Video

"What Heaven Sees In You"

My friend Kerrianne wrote this onto her blog, so I copied it onto mine to share with all of you! She made this video for me- It is awesome!!

Allow me, if you will, to return to Girl's Camp for ONE LAST post. For those of you I asked for pictures from of your girls in their white dresses,
I thought I'd post the video that I made for Girl's Camp with them.
I ended up not needing as many of the dresses pictures as I once thought, but THANK YOU for sending them, nonetheless. It turned out really cool, I think.
Click
HERE and you should be able to watch it.

I would have posted it sooner, but at the risk of anyone seeing it
before they were supposed to, I couldn't.
Well, they all got back today, so I guess we're safe.
It's called, appropriately enough,
"What Heaven Sees in You."
Words and Music by: Doug Walker and Sherry Marks Walker
Pictures: Various Collections

*FYI, it starts out black for the first 17 or so seconds before the pictures come on.
And, turn up the sound. For some reason it's really soft.
ENJOY!

I really enjoyed working on this project with Kerrianne and it was a smash hit at Girl's Camp. Our theme was "Spiritually Minded Is Life Eternal- S.M.I.L.E" And this video puts pictures to that message. I hope you enjoy it, and thanks to everyone who scrounged for pictures for me!!! I appreciated all the pictures I received or borrowed off myspace- Thanks Rhonda your picture makes a great impact in the video- thanks for letting me borrow it!!
