... and that's the game!!!!

BOSTON RED SOX
2007 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS

That's right Boston won the 2007 World Series last night with a 4 game sweep against the Colorado Rockies who came into this series wining 21 of 22 games! Thanks to big hitters like John Lester and Bobby Kielty who both smashed home runs to light the fire for the Sox's. Then you have to give credit where credit is due. To close the game out than Papelbon #58 striking out Rocky- Seth Smith with a 94 mph fastball for a fantastic finish. Then Papelbon threw his glove in the air, threw his hat, and held his arms out for "Captain" Catcher Jason Varitek #33 and picked him up while Jason put his hand in the air letting the Rocky fans know who was really number one!!! Then a rush of Red Sox bombarded the mound one on top of the other to congratulate one another.

What a great finish for the Red Sox. Destroying the Rockies with a 29-10 over four games, and winning 8 consecutive World Series games and topping the 2007 Playoffs off with seven straight wins! And what a story- Who would of ever thought that the wild card team of 2004 would come and break down the "Curse" even after an 86 year dry spell, then comeback and win it for a second time in four seasons. I think they are trying to make a statement!!
And a huge one at that!!

And now for tradition...
Papelbon's Riverdance- after being named National League Champions
**you can also see some other players join in especially Kevin Youkilis:)
(*hilarious- ENJOY!!)

*Go Boston*

I had to share how excited I am for Game 4 of the 2007 World Series in a few hours!!!
If you haven't been keeping track- Yes, Boston made it to the World Series again with a tremendous comeback against the Indians. The Sox's were down 1-3 in game 5 and came back to take the rest of that series to make their way here!!!
In the MLB World Series action they are on game 4 winning 3-0 in the series, and the game tonight could be a SHUT OUT sweeping the World Series. If not the series will continue. But the Sox's are on fire, so the Rockies better bring their game.

One person in particular I have enjoyed watching is- J.D. Drew (outfielder-R). His brother Stephen Drew plays for the AZ Diamondbacks. His intensity, and natural abilities have been absolutely fascinating. He reminds me of one of my favorite "ballers" who also is an outfielder... Eric Byrnes!! I love Byrnes' intensity and you can tell he just loves to play the game.

Here are some pictures of J.D. Drew that show some of his intensity for those who aren't baseball fans!

And here are some of "Byrnsie Baby" (that's okay with my husband- he loves him just as much as I do...) These pictures show exactly why I like him so much and enjoy watching him play ball! That kid gives a 110% every time he steps on that field and he swings for the fences with all his might when he steps in the batters box. He is too intense for some people, but he plays his heart out and you can't find many others out there who are here for more then the $$$$! To Byrnes he acts like that is just the icing on the cake. Man I love that guy- Go #22!! But what I have seen in J.D. Drew may make me reconsider one other person who may be here for more, he certainly has caught my attention, and hopefully many others.
Go *REDSOX* kick butt!!!

(I know they won last year, but I would love to see them win again... hopefully tonight!)

Silly Conference Session

This was on my friend Kerrianne's blog I thought it was so FUNNY!!!
She put it this way...

So, I've been wondering, since the Saturday morning session of Conference, what was SO FUNNY after President Hinckley left the pulpit after he got done with the sustaining of officers. The lights were down, and the congregation was laughing hysterically. Well, today I got an email explaining the whole thing. Someone who was there recounts it this way:

Here it is:

After President Hinckley finished with the sustaining of the officers of the church during the Saturday morning session, Elder Eyring had moved into his new seat on the stand. Unfortunately, they didn't show this on TV, but when President Hinckley turned around, he stood there for a moment looking at Elder Eyring (probably with the little twinkle in his eye), then picked up his cane and "knighted" him on his shoulder and head. Truly one of the funniest things I've ever seen him do. Here's the picture from it. I love how Elder Eyring looks just like a little boy....

We had been doing so much in Phoenix the weekend of conference, so we only got to listen to it. But I find it so weird how even just listening to it when you are busy seems to bring that calming peace into your heart. I love conference time and have created such a huge spot in my heart for President Hinckley!! Everytime I see him or listen to him speak I have the biggest smile on my face- you all know what I am talking about!! And it's good to know he has a sense of humor too!!

We love you President Hinckley!!

**Thanx Kerrianne- I loved it**

Sometimes I wonder??

Sometimes I wonder...
Can toddlers be Bi-polar... or maybe this is what they mean by the "terrible twos"-

*I'll have to add that to the "Mommy Log" too.

Everyone always tells me my son is sooo cute!!!

But I think he is thinking of the next TANTRUM he is going to throw...

Where?

When?

Why?

HOW?

But when no one is around this is what I see...

Funny, ha ha- to you!! I know you are laughing mom, and I know what you're thinking- "Pay back is sweet!!!!"

He is a good FAKER too, but I think he knows he has everyone fooled!!

See there it is again the sweet innocent look, ohh- but he is just too cute!!

I am pretty sure I "LOVE" him though, his kisses & squeezes make up for the (spawn of satan side) that comes out to visit mommy every now and then!
