FuNnY ViDeO

To get the full effect of the video turn the sound off the music player on bottom of page!!

This is just a funny video I found of Brody. We had gone swimming at the pool and had gotten home a little past nap time so we decided to get him some lunch before going down for bed, but he didn't quite make it that far... But it is quite humorous!!!

ENJOY!!!

*Two of a Kind*

Brody has had quite a hard time adjusting to Jordyn going to school 2 days a week, and with Holiday schedules throwing off the schedule, we didn't get to see Jordyn for a week, then this week only 2 days. He gets quite bored when she isn't around, but then again I should be counting my blessings cause when they haven't been together in a while-

this is what ends up happening...

Brody ends up just missing her so much- he can't stand it, so they play so well together and just are soooo stinkin' sweet to eachother.

This day she shared her toys with him she let him play with her ponies with her and she let him play with her hair.

*train of thought:

(Me- in Beauty School, B-Bo playin' w/ a curling iron? ironic I know) But hey for Kip's sake- he still can kick a soccer ball, and throw a baseball harder than most kids!! So he has just a tiny sprinkle of his mamma's "feminine abilities" side??

What kid doesn't.

Here they are today at lunchtime he gets to sit at the counter in his big boy chair so Jordyn was so excited B-Bo got to eat right by her so she wouldn't leave him alone. But it was totally too cute to pass up the Photo Op.

I guess who could say that there "AUNT"

loves them this much!!

Cold noses, Big coughs, & Too Much Fun

So Brody and I went for a really long walk the other day and ended up at the park for hours. It was cold but we had too much fun, we may have to make it a ritual!!

However I dusted off the camera and pulled it from it cozy spot in the closet and came up with this very dashing picture of my Brody. The only good picture I got of him. Normally he'll turn his back so I don't get a good pic, but I tricked him here.

For example here is his "Mom put the camera away picture"

Although even though he wouldn't look at me, this one's cute. At the park under the big playground set they have these little windows that look as if there are buttons like a cash register, and Jordyn and Brody would take your order and put the bark up on there as your order- cute I know!! Brody uses his hat so cleverly (if that's a word- well I guess it is now) he'll look down so you can't get a pic. but he'll barely peek enough to see from under the hat. He is a funny guy!

"Tell him to stop chasing me mom!!"

I tried to get him to play with his shadow but he doesn't sit still very long- go figure. But we had fun and I love to see how much he's grown and thought I'd just share some pictures of B-Bo so all you can share in it with me!! We got home, were super tired, with red, runny noses, and Brody's lil' cough. So we snuggled up and took a nap!! That's all folks, but I'll leave you with some more cute pics of Brody!!

"I am sooo cute"

He's watching Curious George, our greatest find yet!! He won't even move when it's on, and it is the only movie that will get us all the way to PHX in the car without a peep from the backseat! Till next time....

Update... on everything HAIR

A Russell Pack update...

I am here to explain the countdown on my page. This is how it works for anyone who cares.

When I started Beauty School you go through a 16 week crash course "BASICS" learning everything you need to know then at the end of your 16 weeks you "grade out" to go out on the "clinic floor" and work on actual clients- instead of just your "dollies."

Then once you have reached 1600 hours you have a "Senior Grad out" when you get your diploma from the school. Then you have to go register & pay to take your State Boards (AHH...) to get your license. State Board is the hardest test, our other test are supposed to simulate an actual state board test.

If you have been keeping track I have actually finished my 16 weeks, but when I transferred to the night program in October, in agreement to switch- I had to retake the creative essentials "BASICS" program. They have switched to a quicker 12 week program now, so I will be grading out not too far from my actual grade out time. (would have been on Mon.) Now it is...

**JANUARY 7th 2008**

But I have been able to keep my accumulated hours: 600 Hrs.
I will have been in the "basics" class for: 20 Weeks
with a grand total of about: 700 Hrs. of BASICS

WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT SO FAR!!!!

I have about 9 months of school left
900 hours more

So now the "big picture" I will GRADUATE sometime in: SEPT. '08
Now you have been updated to my life these days. Here is some of the stuff I have done...

Old School
Roller set & backcombing style

Simple half up do

Pin curl wet set up do
Formal french twist up do
with a modern twist

Okay so don't mind the beard!!! This is a women's cut we had to do on our man dollies to make sure we used the hair we could. But the cut is very cute (just don't look at the beard!)

My Nail art

Daises, Flames, Hibiscus, Hearts, Butterflies, Etc.

Geez, if I may be so bold- I am so Proud of myself!!

YOU GO JEN!!!
Hope y'all enjoyed the little update on everything HAIR!!!
(at least in my world these days)

Turkey, Movies, & Bridal Showers?

Well Thanksgiving past with a full belly and so many extra pounds, and getting in our traditional theater time at Harkins Theater...
we went out with all the other millions who also go see movies as tradition for Thanksgiving & saw the movie "Enchanted" -(so cute, Great family flick!)

After all the fun and waiting to do my shopping for Jamie's bridal shower on SAT. I braved the crowds in Gilbert and went to get some last minute things on...

Black Friday- bad idea, it took me all day!

But hey I did get a cute haircut from my friend Jenilyn. She seriously is the best!!!!!!!

So now that all that was over it was time to drive home and finish getting ready for the bridal shower. DeAnna and I made these really cute invites...

The shower went great, and I perfected my mad Hostessing skills. We played some great games and had fun with lots of friends, family, and family*to*be. One of the highlights came from the dynamic Tag Team Duo: Kim Draper and Kerrianne Burch. (Kim took all my Wedding pictures, and Kerrianne made Kip & my sweet wedding video.) They worked together and took Jamie out for hours to do some incredible Bridal Photography. They decided to keep it all under wraps until the wedding, so they have us all waiting with great anticipation! One of the pictures they let us see was this beautiful piece they blew up and framed for Jamie and gave it to her at the shower.

What an inspirational poster don't you think!?

Maybe one day Jamie will hang this in her very own Dance Studio!! That is a picture they caught of Jamie in her wedding dress, and her point shoes. And gives you just a glimpse of how beautiful the photography is going to be!

They are WONDERFUL- they let us (family) see a sampling of the approximately 1000 pictures taken, so it was just kinda an appetizer, But they are Jamie to the T! And I can't wait to see what the rest of the pictures are going to turn out!!

Momma's "little" man

I have been thinking an awful lot lately- I guess you could see that since I am writing this at such a late hour. But anyhow this last month has made me think. Another birthday has passed and I am now 22- and looking back would have never imagined I would be where I am today. Another anniversary has passed 3 years baby!! And I don't know when this...

Brody- 2 mon.

All of a sudden before my eyes went to this...

Brody- 6 mon.

And now has become such a little man...

Everyday I am amazed at this little sunshine in my life!! I would of never guessed something so small could bring the greatest joy I have ever experienced. His smile lights my day- everyday I wake up. He used to curl up and fit so snug on my chest- arms and legs tucked in tight, now he still tucks in so tightly when he feels like cuddling, but everyday I realize he's not such a baby anymore. Now he cuddles up and his body not so small hangs down to my knees. He understands so much and with a wicked pitching arm (seriously- he's going to be a baller) and the way he loves to kick a ball back and forth for hours it feels like. The words he can put together now that only mom can understand, but he tries so hard. With a full mouth of teeth, and a whole list of facial reactions (he looks at himself in the mirror and laughs at all the funny things he can do with his little face.) He can point to your mouth, nose, eyes, and ears and tries to say them. He knows the actions to "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Patty Cake." He can now sing his bedtime songs to me. (You are my sunshine.) With an array of sign language he knows, he can usually get his way. He has figured out how to pick on Jordyn, and that he now thinks it is so funny. He gives the best hugs and kisses.

This must only mean he is quickly turning into a little Man!!

With this past year flying by so fast... He will be two in a few months on Valentine's Day, and as sad as it is to think he is getting big so fast I guess it's only a matter of time till he will be baptized, go to Prom, serve a mission, get married, have his own kids. Okay that makes me cry maybe we won't think of that right now. (he is only 2 but still You can't help but think of that.) But I can't wait to teach him everything, and help him grow everyday. I want all the best things the world can offer him and I hope I can be the best Mother for him- even though I am still learning. I have enjoyed getting to know him and look forward to how much more I will get to know such a developing spirit. I hope I can enjoy every minute of it!!

He'll always be my BABY!!

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE!!
